Inbox
In this area you can enable the Inbox functionality for your app.
This functionality is available for all our clients, but not activated by default. It will allow you to build an in-app, device or user-level inbox. Apps or websites with an in-app inbox, enjoy higher conversions since messages can be opened as many times as users want.
Under the Settings menu, you should start by clicking in Services:
You should then click in the Configure button from the following box:
To enable this functionality all you have to do is toggle this option:
You can also enable the Auto-Badge:
This functionality will automatically manage the unread messages count for your app. In iOS and tvOS it will automatically hide or display a badge next to the app's icon.
It's important to note that at this point, your in-app inbox will only be able to provide a list of messages at the device-level.
Additionally, if your app is defined to register users at the API Level, as described here, you can also enable the User-Based Inbox option:
When this option is enabled, you will then be able to retrieve a list of message at the user-level.
Finally, hit the Save button to store your changes:
Please note that enabling this functionality will also provide your messages with further personalization. Messages sent in apps with in-app inbox can also contain data placeholders in the content and actions.
Metrics like Unique Opens or Unique Replies are also only available when this feature is enabled.
