Schedule

In this page you'll learn how to use the schedule component available throughout our dashboard. This component is used to provide schedule metadata for messages, including support for recurrent messages.

To use the schedule component, you will need to provide a time and a time zone:

time selector

Additionally, instead of using a pre-defined time zone, you can choose to use the device's timezone instead. This could be useful if your audience is scattered across multiple time zones, and you want your message to arrive at the time for all your users.

When you select a time, you can also define if we should repeat that scheduled message, effectively creating a recurring message:

repeat

When you enable this option, you will then be able to define the frequency. For example, if you select Hourly:

hourly

You can also select if you want to only send on certain hours of the day and on certain days.

If you select Daily:

daily

You can also select if you want to repeat it every x days.

If you select Weekly:

weekly

You can also select if you want to repeat it every x weeks and on certain days of the week.

If you select Monthly:

monthly

You can also select if you want to repeat it every x months and define if it should be based on the day of the month (e.g. Every 2nd of the month) or the day of the week (e.g. Every first Monday of the month).

Finally, you can also select Yearly:

yearly

Where you can also select if you want to repeat it every x years.

A recurring schedule can also have an end date:

end date

Which will define when your recurrent message will stop.

We will also display information about the schedule job you define in this section:
