HMS
In this area you can set up HMS PushKit. This service is capable of sending remote push notifications to Android apps that run Huawei Mobile Services. In this area you will be able to configure the HMS settings necessary for our platform to send notifications on your behalf.
To access these pages, expand the Settings menu and click in Services like shown below:
Then you should click the Configure button in the HMS box:
Please note that before you successfully finish this setup, this service will show the Inactive sign. While inactive you will not be able to send Android notifications through HMS at all.
In the HMS configuration page, you will need to provide us the HMS App ID and App Secret. To learn how to get these details please visit our guide here. Once you have these, paste them in the following fields:
Finally you should click in the Save button to make sure you store these changes:
Once you have entered the App ID and App Secret, your service will become active and you should now be able to send remote notifications to your Android apps.
To be able to receive message receipts so Notificare can process feedback on failed tokens or uninstalled apps, you must use the data in the HMS Receipt Configuration to fill out in the HMS AppGallery PushKit configuration.
Any time you change the App ID or App Secret, these values will be updated too and will have to be re-entered in the AppGallery Console.
